Impact
Building people while building the business.
Abaholi was founded on a community focus. Twenty-five years later, employment and development are still how the company grows.

01
Employment
Every contract Abaholi takes on creates work. Permanent staff run the core operation and project teams scale up around each event, each production and each site. Recruitment is local wherever the work is local.

02
Training
Training happens on the line. New team members are paired with experienced supervisors and taken through food handling, service standards, site conduct and the operational detail that keeps a service window on time.

03
Mentorship
Abaholi promotes from within. Supervisors and managers in the business started on service teams. Mentorship is how operational knowledge moves through the company and how the next layer of leadership is built.

04
Women Empowerment
Abaholi is 100% black woman-owned and led by Musa Nzuza with her daughter Mandisa Nzuza-Jongwe as COO. Women hold operational and supervisory roles throughout the business, not only service roles.

05
Community Development
The company was founded on a community focus and it has stayed there. Community programmes, development events and local supplier and staff sourcing remain part of how Abaholi takes on work.
